Dr. Valerie Shaker

Dr. Shaker grew up in Warren Ohio. She graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2008 with a BS in Biology. She is a 2012 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at the The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shaker has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery.  She is a member of the American Association of feline practitioners and played an integral role in getting VCH feline friendly gold certified. She is also a certified feline friendly veterinarian through the AAFP. Dr. Shaker and her husband Chris currently live in Hudson, Ohio with their two sons Alexander and Lincoln and their three pets, a black lab named Bodie, a tuxedo cat named Brinley and a Siamese cat named Biscotti. Dr. Shaker enjoys spending time with family, cooking, Target runs, and is a big fan of Cleveland sports.
